Holbæk Municipality

Holbæk municipality is a Danish municipality on the main island of Zealand. It was created on 1 January 2007 as part of local government reform by combining the "old" Holbæk commune with the former municipalities Jernløse, Svinninge, Tornved and Tølløse.

Holbæk municipality has a total population of 69 263 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2013 ) and an area of ​​area: 577.20 km ². It is part of Sjælland region. The seat of government is in Holbæk.
