Hormozgan Province

Hormozgan (Persian هرمزگان ) is one of the 31 provinces of Iran. Capital is Bandar Abbas.

In the province of 1,403,674 people ( 2006 census ). The area of ​​the province covers 70 669 square kilometers. The population density is 20 inhabitants per square kilometer.

Geography

Hormozgan is located in the south of Iran on the Strait of Hormuz ( pers: Hormoz ). She is the UAE closest province.
