Hradištko (Nymburk District)

Hradištko, until 1969 Hradišťko ( German Hradischko ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers south-west of Nymburk and belongs to fulltext your real estates.

Geography

Hradištko is located on the left bank of the Elbe opposite the ruins Mydlovar and the mouth of the Vlkava on the East Bohemian panel. To the south extends the natural park Kersko and the northwest of the floodplain " Mydlovarský luh ".

Neighboring towns are Šnepov and Rozkoš in the north, Kostomlaty nad Labem in the northeast, Doubrava, Písty and Zvěřínek in the east, and Sadská Třebestovice the southeast, Velenka in the southwest, and Kersko Semice in the west and Ostra in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village took place in 1088.

After the abolition of patrimonial Hradišťko formed in 1850 a municipality in the district Poděbrady. Part of the municipality is the Kerskowald. After the First World War, the Kersko became a popular recreation area of Prague's upper class. In the forest a cottage settlement arose. The Kersko Forest in 1951 was action area of resistance actions of the Mašín brothers.
