Hurricane Bret (1999)

Hurricane Bret was the first of five Category 4 hurricane of the Atlantic hurricane season of 1999. Though he reached as a strong Category 3 hurricane in the U.S. state of Texas the mainland, Bret caused relatively little damage in the amount of approximately 60 million U.S. dollars. Causes of this relatively low amount of damage was Bret's small size and the fact that he came across a sparsely populated area.
