Interstate 235 (Iowa)

Interstate 235 (abbreviated I- 235), also MacVicar Freeway, is an interstate highway in the U.S. state of Iowa. It begins at Interstate 35 and Interstate 80 in West Des Moines and ends at this again in Ankeny. Important cities along the Interstate are West Des Moines, Windsor Heights and Des Moines. The Interstate is also called in honor of the two Mayors of Des Moines, John MacVicar Sr. and Jr. John MacVicar (1942-1948), MacVicar Freeway.
