Ixnay on the Hombre is the fourth studio album by the American punk rock band The Offspring. It was published on 4 February 1997 on Columbia Records and is the successor to the 1994 publication successful album Smash.

Success

Ixnay on the Hombre reached in over ten countries the top ten of the charts, but failed to match the success of its predecessor Smash. Nevertheless, it remained just under 40 weeks in the U.S. and 34 weeks in the German charts. The greatest successes after the charts and after precious metal awards was able to record the album in Australia, Finland and New Zealand.
