Jämlitz-Klein Düben

Jämlitz small Duben (Sorbian Jemjelica - Źěwink ) is the smallest municipality in the district of Spree- Neisse in Brandenburg and is part of the Office Döbern country that has its headquarters in the city Döbern.

Geography

History

The first mention of the former Vasallenguts Jämlitz dated to the year 1302, in 1564 the village was first mentioned. Small Duben was first mentioned in 1490 as Dybe.

The community Jämlitz small Duben was taken on December 31, 2001 the voluntary merger of the previously independent municipalities Jämlitz and small Duben.
