Jari Kurri trophy

The Jari Kurri trophy - is a hockey award, which is awarded by the Finnish SM- liiga to the best player of the SM - liiga play -offs. It has been awarded since 1994 and was named after Jari Kurri.

In the 2005-06 season the winner of the trophy was uniquely determined by an SMS vote, in which all fans were able to attend. In 2007, the award was first awarded to the last final of the play-offs right after, rather than during the official ceremony.
