Jérémy Roy
Jérémy Roy ( born June 22, 1983 in Tours) is a French cyclist.
Jérémy Roy goes both races on the road, as well as in Cyclocross. In 2002 he won two races in Tours Cross -Ile Aucard and in Contres. In August 2003, he was an intern for the French cycling team La Française des Jeux. In the following season the team signed him and he won another race Cross in Notre -Dame- d'Oé for themselves. Since 2005 he takes part with his team on the UCI ProTour. He started once even during the Vuelta a España.
Unlike most colleagues Roy has studied successfully. Therefore, it is only fully professional since 2007. As part of the Anti -Doping Athletes for Transparency project, to also participate, sports celebrities like Sandrine Bailly, he has declared its willingness to publish his performance-relevant body values throughout the season.
In 2011 he attacked at the Tour de France almost continuously, wearing a long leg the jersey of the best climber and crossed the Pyrenees two giant Col du Tourmalet and Col d' Aubisque each first. This was last Federico Bahamontes. On the thirteenth stage he went to two kilometers from the finish in Lourdes at the top before him Thor Hushovd and David Moncoutie still outdated and he was third stage.
