Jerry Seinfeld
Jerome Allen, Jerry " Seinfeld ( born April 29, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York City ) is an American actor, comedian and author. Jerry Seinfeld was known mainly for the successful eponymous sitcom Seinfeld, which ran from 1989 to 1998 in the U.S. NBC television program. He was co-writer and co-producer of the series.
Seinfeld grew up as an only child of a Jewish family in Brooklyn, where he attended Birch Lane Elementary School and later the Massapequa High School. He then went to the State University of Oswego ( SUNY Oswego ) New York, but he left after a few semesters. Following his graduation from Queens College, he completed his first performances at the open mic in New York 's Catch A Rising Star Show 1976. Shortly afterwards, Seinfeld appeared in a Rodney Dangerfield HBO special.
Seinfeld had a small role as a postman " Frankie" in the sitcom Benson in 1979, but in which he was able to record only limited success, which meant that he was promptly sacked. Later, he will take up the name " Benson " in his blockbuster Bee Movie again.
A few years later, in May 1981 Seinfeld was able to complete a highly successful appearance on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Seinfeld was now a regular guest in several shows, including the Late Night Show with David Letterman and Merv Griffin Show.

Along with Larry David created Seinfeld on NBC 1989 The Seinfeld Chronicles. The show was later renamed Seinfeld and was one of the most famous and successful sitcoms on U.S. television. Seinfeld was by his own admission, although never a practicing Scientologist, took in previous years, however, participated in several courses of Scientology, which was helpful for his career, according to his own statement.
He is also the owner of one of the largest Porsche collections (supposedly he owns 47 shares) of the world. Among other things, was to him the last air-cooled Porsche 911, model 993, delivered.
