Jindřich Roudný

Jindřich Roudný ( born February 14, 1924 in Fukov ) is a former athlete from Czechoslovakia. The 1.75 m wide and its competition time 63 kg heavy runners in 1950 was European champion in the steeplechase.

At the European Championships 1946 in Oslo Roudný ran new national record in 9:33,4 minutes. He was number 7 with 30 seconds behind the winner Raphael Pujazon. Four years later at the European Championships 1950 in Brussels Roudný won the title in 9:05,4 minutes with two seconds ahead of the Yugoslavs Peter Szeged. Roudný took in 1952 at the Olympic Games in Helsinki. In 9:06,4 minutes he was fifth of its forward travel, he missed the finals by 0.4 seconds.
