Jon DiSalvatore

Jon DiSalvatore ( born March 30, 1981 in Bangor, Maine ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since December 2013 at Syracuse Crunch in the American Hockey League contract.

Career

Jon DiSalvatore began his career as a hockey player at Providence College, which he attended from 1999 to 2003 while he was playing in parallel for the ice hockey team in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2000 in the fourth round as a total of 104 players from the San Jose Sharks. For their farm team Cleveland Barons winger ran on in the American Hockey League in the season 2003/ 04. On 30 June 2004 he was awarded a contract as a free agent with the St. Louis Blues, for their AHL farm team Worcester IceCats he stood in the 2004/05 season on the ice. From 2005 to 2007 he played for St. Louis ' new AHL farm team the Peoria Rivermen, where he also ran aground in the 2005/06 season in five games for the St. Louis Blues in the National Hockey League.

In the summer of 2007, he was obliged by the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes, played throughout the season 2007/ 08 but only for their AHL farm team San Antonio Rampage. The same happened to him in the following season, when he was taken by the New Jersey Devils of the NHL under contract, but ran aground exclusively for their AHL farm team Lowell Devils. In the summer of 2009, he joined the Minnesota Wild of the NHL, for which he was active in a game in the season 2011 /12. The entire rest of the time from 2009 he spent at their AHL farm team Houston Aeros, where he was team captain from 2010 to 2012. In July 2012, the American was taken by the Hershey Bears under contract. In the summer of 2013 he moved to Germany to EHC München Red Bull; his contract with DEL club from Munich but was disbanded in December of the same year. This was followed by the move to Syracuse Crunch, where he will play again in the American Hockey League.

Internationally

For the U.S. DiSalvatore took part in the U20 World Youth Championship in 2001. In seven games, he scored six goals and three assists.
