Jonás Gutiérrez

Jonás Manuel Gutiérrez ( born July 5, 1983 in Presidente Roque Sáenz Peña ) is an Argentine footballer who currently plays for Newcastle United in the Premier League.

Playing career

In the club

Jonás Gutiérrez comes from the youth of Velez Sarsfield, for the first team he played from 2001 to 2005. He also reached its greatest success - winning the Clausura 2005, the Argentine championship. In 2005 he went to RCD Mallorca, where he developed immediately for regular players.

In February 2007 he was the first time for the Argentine national team play ( in a friendly match against France ). Since the 2007/ 08 season there were regularly deals Jonás Gutiérrez from the Premier League.

In summer 2008 he also accepted one of these offers from England and now plays for Newcastle United in the English Premier League.

During the winter break of the 2013/14 season, he spent six months on loan to league rival Norwich City.
