Ricky van Wolfswinkel ( born January 27, 1989 in Woudenberg ) is a Dutch football player. Since the 2013/14 season, the striker is the English first division club Norwich City under contract.

Association

Van Wolfswinkel has been formed in the Vitesse / AGOVV Voetbal Academie ( young merger of the associations Vitesse and AGOVV Apeldoorn). In the A- juniors he was top scorer in 2007 and received the League of Wesley Sneijder, deputizing for the KNVB, an award for this performance. After the 2010 World Cup called Bond coach Bert van Marwijk van Wolfswinkel for the match in Donetsk on 11 August 2010 against Ukraine for the first time in the cadre of senior team. Since the game was promptly on the World Cup final, van Marwijk had waived the player used at the World Cup. Van Wolfswinkel played a 1-1 draw from the first whistle over 70 minutes before he was replaced with the also debuting Roy Beerens.
