Javier Garrido
Javier Garrido Behobide ( born March 15, 1985 in Irun ) is a Spanish footballer who is since 2010 the Italian Serie A club Lazio on the position of the left full-back under contract. He currently plays on loan at English first division club Norwich City.
Club career
Real Sociedad
Garrido began as a child to go through all the youth teams of Real Sociedad and then came in the years 2002 to 2004 for the second team of the club used.
His first game for the senior team, he played on 8 October 2003 for the cup tie against Real Oviedo, which Real Sociedad won 2-1. His first game in La Liga he made on August 29, 2004 game against Levante UD. In his three years at Real Sociedad, he made 86 games and scored one goal.
Manchester City
On 2 August 2007 Javier Garrido changed hands for 2.2 million euros to Manchester City and there wrote a four -year contract. Nine days later, on August 11, he made his first game for City against West Ham United. His first goal for Manchester City he scored on 5 October 2008 with the 2:3 defeat to Liverpool.
Garrido had a hard time because Wayne Bridge was set to this in his position.
Lazio Rome
On 31 July 2010, announced that Garrido switches to Italian club Lazio, a few days after Aleksandar Kolarov from Lazio moved to the Citizens.
Norwich City
For the 2012/13 season Garrido moved on loan to Norwich City. For the 2013/14 season he was finally obliged fixed.
National team career
Garrido played for the Spanish U-19 national team, with which he 2004, the U-19 European Championship won. A year later, he took part with the U -20 team at the Junior World Championship in 2005 in the Netherlands.
