Jonathan Mance, Baron Mance

Jonathan Hugh Mance, Baron Mance, PC ( born June 6 1943) is a British judge of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom.

Life and career

Mance was born on 6 June 1943 as one of four children of Sir Henry Mance, an important figure in Lloyd 's Register. Like his father, he attended Charterhouse School, a boarding school in Godalming, Surrey. Subsequently, he studied at University College, Oxford, and in 1965 approved by the Law Society of the Middle Temple.

Justice career
