José Acasuso

José Acasuso ( born October 20, 1982 in Posadas, Misiones ) is a former Argentine tennis player.

Career

Acasuso originally aspired to a career as a basketball player. However, he began twelve years playing tennis and was from 1999 to 2012 professional tennis player on the ATP World Tour, on which he was able to win three tournament victories. On 24 February 2012, he joined at the age of 29 years as part of the Copa Claro 2012 back from professional tennis.

His best finish in the tennis world ranking he reached in August 2007 as number 20
