José Guardiola

José Guardiola (actually: Josep Guardiola Díaz de Rada, born October 22, 1930 in Barcelona, † April 9, 2012 ) was a Catalan musician and singer.

He came from a musical family and was in the 1950s and 1960s in Spain and South America successfully. Were known to his Spanish versions of classics such as Sixteen Tons or Mack the Knife. He took for Spain at Euro Vision Song Contest 1963 in London and arrived with the hit Algo prodigioso ranked 12th Josep Guardiola also composed the anthem for the Catalan football club RCD Espanyol Barcelona.
