Justin Mapletoft

Justin Mapletoft ( born January 11, 1981 in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who plays for the HC Sierre in the National League B since November 2011.

Career

Mapletoft began his career in 1996 in the Canadian junior Western Hockey League with the Red Deer Rebels. During the NHL Entry Draft in 1999, he was selected by the New York Islanders in the fifth round at a total of 130 positions. After only 18 games for the Finnish showpiece club, he moved in the Swedish Elitserien for Södertälje SK, where he finished the current season.
