Kevin Borlée

Kevin Borlée ( born February 22, 1988 in Woluwe -Saint -Lambert ) is a Belgian athlete who specializes in the 400 -meter run. He was European champion in 2010.

Career

Borlée won the 2006 Belgian championship title over 400 meters in the hall and in 2007 over the same distance in the open air and in the 200 -meter run in the hall. On 31 May 2008, he ran in the 4 x 400 meters relay together with his brother Jonathan, Cédric Van Branteghem and Kristof Beyens a time of 3:02,51 min order for the quartet undercutting the 27 -year-old national record by but over one second, missed the qualifying standards for the Olympic Games in Beijing by one hundredth of a second. Kevin Borlée has a competition weight of 67 kg at a height of 1.80 m. His twin brother Jonathan and his older sister Olivia are likewise successful sprinters. The three siblings are coached by her father Jacques Borlée.
