Kevin Anthony Jance Nolan (born 24 June 1982 Liverpool) is an English footballer. He is since 2011 at West Ham United.

Career

Bolton Wanderers

The midfielder began his career at the age of 14 at a youth team in his hometown of Liverpool. As a child he was an ardent supporter of Liverpool FC. The Bolton Wanderers later captain of the first team came through a friend. At the age of 16 years, Nolan was inducted into the Academy of Bolton. At 17, he signed a professional contract with the Trotters. In his first Premier League season (2001/ 02) Nolan scored eight goals. Overall, he played more than 200 games for Bolton Wanderers.

Newcastle United

2009 saw Nolan to Newcastle United in the Football League Championship 2009/10. His team was relegated in the previous year from the Premier League 2008 /09, reaching him as second division champions direct resurgence. After a souveränden relegation in the Premier League 2010/ 11, he moved to West Ham United relegated.

With West Ham Nolan played a successful season in the Football League Championship 2011 /12. The Hammers finished third and managed via the play-offs direct promotion back to the Premier League. As captain of the team Nolan contributed twelve goals this season to do so.

National

International Kevin Nolan was nominated twice for the English U- 21 team. Due to its origin, the midfielder could accrue for Ireland or the Netherlands.

Private

Nolan is married and has one daughter. He has worked as a columnist for the BBC Sport website and trained as an assistant coach an amateur team from Liverpool.
