Kevin Sullivan (athlete)

Kevin Roy Sullivan ( born March 20, 1974 in Brantford, Ontario ) is a Canadian middle and long distance runners.

At the World Athletics Championships in Stuttgart in 1993, he reached the semi-finals over 1500 m. About the same distance, he won the following year silver at the Commonwealth Games in Victoria and was fifth at the 1995 World Cup in Gothenburg.

Also about 1500 m at the 1997 World Cup he came in the semi-finals Athens, retired at the 1999 World Cup in Seville in the flow was fifth at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.

At the World Championships 2001 World Championships in Edmonton 2003 World Championships in Paris / Saint -Denis, 2005 World Championships in Helsinki and 2007 World Championships in Osaka and at the Olympic Games in Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008, he retired about 1500 m respectively in the semifinals, while at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester and 2006 in Melbourne each seventh. In Beijing, he also started about 5000 m, but different in the run- off.

National title he won eight times more than 1500 m (1992-1995, 2000, 2003-2005) and once in cross country.

Kevin Sullivan is 1,81 m tall and weighs 68 kg. He srartet Windsor Legion and is coached by Julie Henner. Since 8 August 1998, the graduate of the University of Michigan is married to the obstacle runner Karen Harvey Sullivan, with whom he lives in Urbana (Illinois ).
