Kleinmölsen

Kleinmölsen is a municipality in the district Sömmerda in Thuringia. It belongs to the administrative community Gramme Aue, which has its headquarters in the town of Großrudestedt.

Geography

Kleinmölsen located in the southeastern part of the Thuringian Basin.

History

For the first time the church was mentioned as Mulinhus documented in 876. 1286/1343 came the village as Wenigenmolhusin at Erfurt, later it was also small Mühlhausen.

  • In Kleinmölsen the complex was constructed in 1604 St. Burchardi is. It was determined in 1719 to form the Evangelical parish church, as its first pastor JB Saltzman known.

During the Second World War, 33 men and women from Poland and Yugoslavia had to do forced labor in agriculture.
