Ringleben, Sömmerda

Ring life is a municipality in the Thuringian district Sömmerda. Since April 9, 1994 In-ring life has been a member of the administrative community Gera - Aue.

Geography

The municipality is located on the ring life Gera ( river), about 15 kilometers north-west of the state capital Erfurt in the immediate vicinity of the city Gebesee.

History

At the beginning of the 9th century ring life is first mentioned in a list of the Archbishop of Lull († 786) of Mainz awarded for the monastery of Hersfeld outdoor goods as Ringelebo.
