Knittelsheim

Knittelsheim is a municipality in the district of Germersheim, in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Bell home.

Geography

The place is between Germersheim and Landau in the Palatinate. To Knittelsheim includes the residential places Knittel Mühle, Am Hochweg and in the upper sand.

History

Although the village Knittelsheim has a great age - the first documentary mention goes to the " White Burger Codex Traditionum " back to the year 808 - it is now one of the small villages of the district of Germersheim.
