Králíky (Hradec Králové District)

Králíky ( German: Kralik ) is a municipality with 376 inhabitants in the Czech Republic. It is located about four kilometers northeast of Nový Bydžov and belongs to the Okres Hradec Králové on. The village lies at 235 m above sea level. M. on the right side of the creek Kralicky on a hill, an influx of Cidlina.

History

Králíky was first mentioned in 1635; then owner was Johann Weighard of Herbersteins. His descendants sold the place in 1686 at the Benedictine monastery of Braunau, which angliederte him to the Country Estate Sloupno. The monastery settled in Kralik from the German possessions in the border region.

After the abolition of the landlord's work on the Constitution Hofgütern in 1775, the Benedictines were five ponds in the vicinity of the village drain and distributed the newly gained ground among the landless on.

Current situation

In Králíky is the nationally known disco Music Club Max ( MCM).

Local structure

The municipality includes the districts Králíky Chmelovice ( Chmelowitz ) Podoliby ( Podolib ) and Řehoty ( Rehota ). Overall, the community consists of 165 homes, of which 65 are in Králíky.
