The circle Filehne was from 1887 to 1920, a Prussian administrative district in the Regierungsbezirk Bromberg Posen. 1910 included the circle Filehne the city Filehne and 56 more municipalities and estate districts.

Administrative history

Kingdom of Prussia

After the reorganization of the circle outline in the Prussian state after the Congress of Vienna was established on January 1, 1818, county Czarnikau in the district of Bromberg in the Prussian province of Posen. This comprised predominantly rural areas to the cities Czarnikau, Filehne and Schönlanke. The circle was initially managed by Schneidemühl in a circle Chodziesen from; later, the district administration was in Czarnikau.

North German Bund / German Empire

Since 1 July 1867, the province of Posen belonged to the North German Confederation and from 1 January 1871 the German Reich. On 1 October 1887, the circular Filehne was created from a part of the circle Czarnikau. The District Office of the new circle was in Filehne.

Poland

After the entry into force of the Treaty of Versailles on 10 January 1920 the district Filehne belonged south of the networks as powiat Wieleń the Polish state at. North of the networks of the German remained circle rest became part of the new networks circle in the province of Posen- West Prussia border.
