The Country Cup is by far the oldest cup competition of the DFB national associations in Germany and had various names over the decades. From 1950/51 he is discharged as " amateur Länderpokal ". The trophy is currently held with 21 teams and a visiting team at the sports school of Duisburg- Wedau. Since 2005, he is played according to the Swiss System with 4 rounds in a league
