Lars Volden

Lars Volden (* July 26, 1992 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian professional ice hockey goaltender who stands since 2010 at the Espoo Blues of the Finnish SM- liiga under contract.

Career

Lars Volden began his career as a hockey player in the junior department Manglerud Star, in which he was active until 2008. Subsequently, the goalkeeper moved to the Stavanger Oilers, for its second team he 2008-2010 in the Norwegian second division, the 1st divisjon, ran aground. In the 2009/10 season, he also came to his debut for the first team of the club in the GET ligaen and was immediately Stavanger Norwegian champion.

In summer 2010, Volden moved to the youth department of the Espoo Blues from Finland. With their U-20 junior, he was in the 2010/11 season runner-up of the top domestic league championship in this age group. In the 2011/12 season, the Norwegian also was the first time for the first team of the Espoo Blues in the SM- liiga between the posts.

Internationally

For Norway Volden took part in the U18 World Youth Championship in 2009 and the U18 Junior B World Cup 2010 and the U20 Junior B World Cup 2010 and the U20 Junior World Championships 2011 at junior level.
