László Cseh

László Cseh [ la ː slo ː ʧɛ ] ( born December 3, 1985 in Halásztelek ) is a Hungarian swimmer.

Career

Cseh is one of the most talented ply swimmers in the world. At the Olympic Games in Beijing, he obtained in all three lines, in which he took (400 m medley, 200m individual medley and 200m butterfly ), respectively the silver medal, beaten only by the U.S. exceptional athlete Michael Phelps.

Already in the 2004 Olympics in Athens he won the bronze medal over 400 m medley. Other achievements are a silver medal over this distance at the World Swimming Championships in 2003 in Barcelona. In the swimming world championships in 2005 in Montreal, he first won the bronze medal over 100 m backstroke, then the silver medal in the 200m individual medley and was on the last day of competition world champion over 400 m medley. In the European Swimming Championships in Budapest 2006 Cseh won 200m individual medley gold and placed in 1:58,17 minutes a new " Championship Record" on. Also about 400 meters individual medley he won clearly. About 200 meters back, he won the silver medal.

The Short Course European Championships 2007 in Debrecen, Hungary, Cseh rose before a home crowd at the towering man of the Games. He not only made a world record in the 200m individual medley ( 1:52,99 minutes) but remained about twice the distance in 3:59,33 minutes also became the first man under the historic, 4 minute mark.
