Ryan Lochte ( born August 3, 1984 in Canandaigua, Ontario County, New York ) is an American swimmer.
Ryan Lochte was born in Canandaigua, New York. He went to the Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange, Florida. He received an athletic scholarship to the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where he swam from 2003 to 2006 for Gregg Troy 's Florida Gators swimming and diving team in National Collegiate Athletic Association ( NCAA) and the Southeastern Conference (SEC) competitions. He lives and trains in Gainesville. Ryan is very versatile and is swimming in international competitions, both freestyle and back and layers. It was 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympic gold medalist and multiple world champion.
Lochte has a contract with Ford Modeling Agency and modeled already for Speedo and GQ.
