Leesburg is a city in Lake County in the U.S. state of Florida with 20,117 inhabitants ( 2010).

Geography

The city is located about 10 km west of Tavares and about 60 km north- west of Orlando.

Demographics

According to the 2010 census, the then 20,117 inhabitants distributed to 10,625 households. The population density was 416.5 inh. / Km ². 63.5 % of the population were white, 28.2% African American, 0.3% Native American and 1.7 % Asian Americans. 3.6% were members of other ethnic groups and 2.7% in different ethnic groups. 9.0 % of the population were Hispanic or Latino.
