Lindenberg/Eichsfeld

In the administration of Community Lindenberg / calibration field from the Thuringian district Eichsfeld eight sub Eichsfelder communities have joined together to do their administrative business. The management community was named after the 286 m high Lindenberg and the calibration field.

Geographical location

The administrative community is located between the hills of the Ohmgebirges ( with the Trogberg: 503 m) in the southeast and the ten mountain ( with the Red Mountain: 407 m) in the southwest, and the Lower Saxon- Thuringian border in the north. The Hahle with their smaller tributaries ( Brehme, Nisse, Oak Brook ) drain the landscape towards the north.

Default, the traffic management community is connected via the federal highway 247, close to the south runs the federal motorway 38

History

The establishment of the joint management on 25 April 1991. On 15 March 2004, the municipality Ferna came from the administrative community added on Ohmgebirge after the three other municipalities of the administrative community with the community Beuren and the City Leinefelde the new Leinefelde -Worbis together had.
