Lone Rock is located in southwest Wisconsin on the north bank of the Wisconsin River, a left tributary of the 88 km to the west runs border with Iowa forming Mississippi. Located on the Mississippi also the intersection of the three states of Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota is 112 km west-northwest.
