Love with the Proper Stranger

In love with a stranger is an American film drama from 1963, the Richard Mulligan directed for Paramount Pictures.

Action

The musician Rocky spends a night with Angie in a hotel. After she told him that she was pregnant, she asks him to recommend a doctor to you. Rocky looking for his girlfriend Barbie, a stripper, which throws him out of the apartment.

Angie's brothers Dominick and Julio and their mother know nothing of her pregnancy. You want to marry Angie with the shy restaurant owners Colombo, which is like Angie Italian origin. The theme song was composed by Johnny Mercer and Elmer Bernstein and sung by Jack Jones.

Reviews

The lexicon of the International film wrote the partly serious, partly humorous staged film tell its certainly not very original story with an unusual love for the subject and to detail.

The film magazine Cinema described the film as a moving, funny and thanks to the Stars still fresh.

Bosley Crowther was from the New York Times, the film is entertaining, but in terms of the romance powerless.
