Lunow-Stolzenhagen
Lunow - Stolzenhagen [ lu ː no ː -] is an official belonging to municipality on the northeastern edge of the district Barnim (Brandenburg). The place is managed by the Office Britz -Chorin -or mountain.
Geographical location
The place is situated on the left bank of the Oder about 27 kilometers northeast of the county town of Eberswalde. The eastern boundary of the municipality forms the border between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Poland.
History
The municipality was created on 1 March 2002 from the voluntary merger of the previously independent municipalities Lunow and Stolzenhagen, constituting the two districts today. To place include the residential places Lunower Dammhaus Vorwerk Steinberg.
