Magnolia is a town in Columbia County in the U.S. state of Arkansas with 10,500 inhabitants ( as of 2004) and is the county seat of administration ( County Seat). The metropolitan area has a size of 24.1 km ².

Magnolia is part of the socio-economic region Ark- La -Tex, which includes parts of the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

In Magnolia, there is the Southern Arkansas University as a public university with an average of 3,000 students. Next there is a wide range of cultural facilities for a town of this size.
