Malberg, Bitburg-Prüm

Malberg is a municipality in the district of Bitburg -Prüm, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Kyllburg. Malberg is a nationally recognized tourist.

Geography

Malberg is located on the Kyll in the Eifel. To the municipality of the district of Mohr hamlet belongs with 176 inhabitants (2005 ).

History

The place Malberg belonged to the late 18th century to the district Bitburg in the Duchy of Luxembourg. The rule Malberg also included Malbergweich next to the castle and the village of Malberg and part of envy Bach.
