Neuheilenbach

Neuheilenbach in the Eifel is a municipality in the district of Bitburg -Prüm, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Kyllburg.

History

The place Neuheilenbach was only established about 1828 as the foundation of " Brazilians " from Heilbach ( Distance nine kilometers distance) and initially had four households. " Brazilians " were called those inhabitants of the region, which sold their property in 1828 to emigrate to Brazil. Some residents from Heilbach were after they had sold possessions, diverted from their plans and instead settled in Brazil in the near Balestier field.
