Mateja Robnik

Mateja Robnik ( born April 6, 1987 in Luče ) is a Slovenian alpine skier. She specializes in the disciplines of giant slalom and slalom.

Biography

In November 2002, Robnik first participated in FIS races. On 24 January 2004 it was first used in the World Cup, the giant slalom in Maribor. Inserts in the European Cup was followed in February 2004. During the World Youth Championship 2006, she missed a medal in the giant slalom only four hundredths of a second and finished fourth. At the end of the same season she won two Slovenian champion in Giant Slalom and Super -G.

On 28 December 2006 Robnik won first World Cup points, when she reached the 18th place in the giant slalom in Semmering. There were other placements in the top 30, your best ever World Cup result is an eleventh place in a giant slalom in Aspen achieved on November 29, 2008. At World Championships Robnik participated from 2005. The best results it achieved in 2009 in Val d'Isere twelfth place in the giant slalom and 13th in the super combined. In the season 2009/10 they had to stop due to an injury, even in the next winter they participated only in a single race. Since the season 2011/12 Robnik starts again regularly in competitions.
