Mauro Jörg
Mauro Jorg (born 29 April 1990) is a Swiss ice hockey player who is since March 2012 at the Rapperswil -Jona Lakers of the Swiss National League A under contract.
Career
Mauro Jörg began his career in the young of the EHC Chur and was loaned to the EHC Arosa during the 2006/07 season. There he gained experience in a men's team, before returning to end of the season to Chur. During the season 2007 /08 he made his debut in the first team his home club in the National League B and collected in 40 games 20 points scorer. At the end of the season he moved from EHC Chur to Lugano, for whom he debuted in the relegation games of the National League A.
In the following season Mauro Jörg played in parallel for the elite Junior A and the professional team of HC Lugano, further he got inserts in the Swiss U20 National Hockey Team and the HC Ceresio. In the 2009/10 season, he was determined to NLA squad of HC Lugano, before being loaned after leaving the club in the playoffs to the EHC Visp from the NLB.
During the NHL Entry Draft in 2010, he was selected in the seventh round to 204th place by the New Jersey Devils. In March 2012, the links Sagittarius moved within the National League A for the Rapperswil -Jona Lakers and signed a contract until the season end of 2013 / 14th
