Maxim Kitsyn

Maxim Alexeyevich Kizyn (Russian Максим Алексеевич Кицын; born 24 December 1991 in Novokuznetsk, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player standing since July 2013 with the Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League under contract and for the Manchester Monarchs in American de Hockey League.

Career

Maxim Alexeyevich Kizyn began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of Metallurg Novokuznetsk, for the second team, he was active from 2007 to 2009 in the Perwaja League, the third Russian league. In the 2008 / 09 season, the winger was parallel his debut for the first team Metallurgs in the Kontinental Hockey League newly established. In his rookie year, he scored five goals in 31 games and had two assists. After another season in the KHL the Russian junior national team in the NHL Entry Draft 2010 was selected in the sixth round as the 158th overall player of the Los Angeles Kings.

Family

Maxim's brother Kirill is also a professional hockey player. Her father Alexei was a professional ice hockey player and was, among other things with the Soviet Union U18 European Junior Champion.
