Men of Honor (English: men of honor ) is the second studio album by the American Heavy-Metal/-Hard-Rock-Band Adrenaline Mob. It was released on 18 February 2014 in North America and three days later in the rest of the world via Century Media. Men of Honor is the first album with drummer AJ Pero.

Formation

In June 2013, the drummer Mike Portnoy left the band for reasons of timing. Even without a drummer began the guitarist Mike Orlando and singer Russell Allen with the songwriting for their second studio album. Orlando wrote it in his own words " 13 to 20 songs ." Musically, the second album of more modern bands like Shinedown or the Foo Fighters was affected.

The recordings took place in New York City in October and November 2013 Sonic Stomp Studio. The album was produced, mixed and mastered by Mike Orlando. The drums played an AJ Pero, who is also active in the band Twisted Sister. Pero was the beginning of December 2013 presented as a new permanent member. Background

The album title was suggested by Mike Orlando's father, after both were thinking about possible album title. Orlando's father first suggested Uomini D' Onore the Italian translation, from which finally the English translation Men of Honor was. Orlando called Adrenaline Mob in an interview as a musical passage.

Feel the Adrenaline is both of a car and of the band. At the end of the song singer Russel Allen built a small tribute to the late Alice -in- Chains singer Layne Staley. House of Lies refers to variety shows, called the Mike Orlando as a house of lies. Fallin 'to Pieces is dedicated to the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Men of Honor sold in the first week after the release of about 3,600 times in the United States. These were around 3,000 copies less than the debut album. The album reached number 99 of the U.S. charts. In Switzerland, the album reached number 60 of the album charts there.
