Paul Di Leo

Paul Di Leo ( born November 19, 1965 in New York) is an American bassist from New York. Since 2001 he has been a permanent member of the current Nena band. As a live bass player he regularly accompanied Enrique Iglesias, Joe Lynn Turner and rock singer Sophia Ramos ( has among others albums by Big Brother and the Holding Company, Joan Osborne and Michelle Shocked involved ). ). Since 2009 he is member of the American band Rage and Beyond and since September 2011 he is also a member of the band Fozzy.

Musical development

At age 12, Paul Di Leo began playing electric bass. As a left-handed strung right-handed, he plays a left-handed bass, that is, the low E string is at the bottom. In the same way he has learned to play the guitar. Early on, Paul di Leo established as a sought-after bass player in the music scene in New York and New Jersey. The breakthrough in the early 1990s succeeded by his work with internationally renowned musicians. Paul di Leo has since worked both on stage and in the studio with many renowned artists, including Billy Joel, Paul Simon, Steve Gadd, Don Henley, Enrique Iglesias, Carly Simon, Lauryn Hill, Joe Lynn Turner, Howard Jones, Kim Wilde, Udo Lindenberg or M -People.

In January 2012, he left the band because he was scheduling difficulties with his other musical projects. As a replacement was brought into the band John Moyer from the band Disturbed. Currently plays Paul Di Leo in the band Fozzy.
