John Moyer

John Moyer ( born November 30, 1973 in El Paso ) is an American bassist. Moyer is a member of the bands Disturbed and Adrenaline Mob and previously played in the bands Soak and The Union Underground.

Career

To become a musician Inspired by the album 1984 by Van Halen Moyer decided. In an interview he stated that two friends playing guitar and still looking for a bass player. At the age of 15 years Moyer formed his first band at his high school. In 1995 he moved to the capital of Texas Austin and joined the band Soak, with whom he released four studio albums.

After leaving Moyer Soak and joined the band The Union Underground, with whom he in 2000 whose only studio album An Education in Rebellion. The Union Underground broke up in 2003. In April 2004, Moyer went as successor to Steve " Fuzz " Kmak at a Disturbed. With Disturbed Moyer played a far released three studio albums, which all reached number one on the U.S. album charts. After Disturbed appealed for a permanent break in the year 2011, Moyer joined in early 2012 the band Adrenaline Mob. In May and June 2013 Moyer helped out with five concerts at Geoff Tate's version of Queensrÿche.

In addition to bass, he also plays guitar and drums. John Moyer is married and has two children. In Austin Moyer directs the School of Music Natural Ear Music.
