Metrorail Western Cape
The Metrorail Cape Town ( Metrorail Western Cape) is an S -Bahn -like suburban railway, connecting Cape Town with numerous surrounding towns of the metropolitan area of Cape Town. It is operated by the PRASA, which also has other regional Metrorail networks. The lines have the usual in South Africa Cape gauge. With the exception of the track to Malmesbury all routes are electrified. The network has 114 stations and stops, as well as a route length of 423 kilometers.
Southern Line and Cape Flats Line
The Southern Line ( Simon Town Line ) connecting Cape Town and Simon 's Town. You can reach the passenger trains south of Cape Town tourist attractions such as Muizenberg, Kalk Bay, Fish Hoek and Simon 's Town. From Muizenberg the distance along the False Bay coastline runs. Up Fish Hoek the route is two-pronged. Some trains run only to retreat or Fish Hoek.

Bonteheuwel Line
Some features of Bonteheuwel Line ride on the Cape Flats Line to Pinelands. There they branch off to Langa. Other trains run on a separate line to Langa with the following stations:

Bellville Line
The Bellville line runs through the northern suburbs of Cape Town and Winelands by the way up to Worcester. Some trains on the Cape Flats Line to Maitland.
