Mimoun Azaouagh
Mimoun Azaouagh ( born November 17, 1982 in Beni Sidel, Morocco ) is a German football player with Moroccan roots. He plays in midfield.
Club career
Mimoun Azaouagh began his career in the junior FSV Frankfurt and Eintracht Frankfurt. In 1999, the midfielder for 1 FSV Mainz 05, where he debuted in the 2000/ 01 season in the league team. In the following season Azaouagh regulars was in the amateurs before it on 15 September 2002 for the first time completed a competitive match for the first team in the second division and also in this team quickly had a regular place.
In the summer of 2004 Azaouagh rose with Mainzern to the Bundesliga. Until then, he had completed 48 second division games and scored four goals in the process. The first three Bundesliga games the midfielder missed because of an illness, in the second Bundesliga match he scored the first goal.
In the away game against VfL Wolfsburg on 30 October 2004, the midfielder moved in a collision with a teammate a serious knee injury. Nevertheless Azaouagh moved to the winter break 2004/ 05 to FC Schalke 04 from 1 FSV Mainz 05, the players parted in the dispute. Schalke initially refused to pay the fee. Only months later agreed the clubs.
After many months of rehabilitation Azaouagh succeeded on 14 January 2006 in a friendly match against SC Paderborn 07 made his debut in the Schalke Dress. His first Bundesliga game for the S04 denied Azaouagh on 4 March 2006 against Hannover 96 The first competitive goal for the Royal Blues he succeeded on 16 March 2006 in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup against Palermo to the final score of 3-0.
During the summer break in 2006 Azaouagh moved on loan expires on 30 June 2007 back to FSV Mainz 05 From 1 July 2007, he was back in the squad for Schalke 04 in the winter break of 2007/ 08 was the Azaouagh for the rest of the season VfL Bochum awarded. For the season 2008/ 09 he moved completely to Bochum. He received a first team contract over four years.
Prior to the 2010/11 season Azaouagh was transferred from coach Friedhelm glitter in the second team, for whom he played the entire season so far in the West Regional twelve times and scored four goals. On September 16, 2012 Azaouagh debuted for the FCK 2-1 win at home against Duisburg. He came on in the 66th minute for Alexander Baumjohann and scored in the 81st minute winner.
National
Between 2003 and 2004 Azaouagh came to six appearances for the German U- 21 team. After FIFA had canceled in June 2009 at a congress, the age limit for a dressing change to Azaouagh decided in early October 2009 to try to play for the national team of Morocco future.
Private
Azaouaghs father Mohamed is kitman his youth club FSV Frankfurt. His brothers Ahmed ( FSV Frankfurt U -19) and Aziz ( Vatan Sports Bad Homburg ) also play football.
