Career

Association

Ring emigrated with his parents in 1994 to Germany, where his father worked at a car manufacturer. In his new home Bonn Alexander Ring began at VfL Lannesdorf playing football and joined in 1998 in the youth section of Bayer 04 Leverkusen. In early 2009 Alexander returned ring with his parents to Finland. This was due on one hand his school performance, on the other hand his mother's homesickness. Alexander Ring moved to the youth department of HJK Helsinki. In between, he also played in the second team of the club, which acted as Klubi -04 Helsinki.

At the beginning of the 2010 ring was integrated into the first team. His professional debut he gave on July 31, 2010 at the 16th matchday coming off the bench against Vaasa PS. In August 2010 he was loaned until the end of the league rivals Tampere United. In his first game for the club from Tampere on 10 September 2010 against FC Lahti ring was the same in the starting eleven and in his second league game, he managed to Turun Palloseura his first goal. After the end of his loan contract ring returned back to the 2011 season HJK Helsinki, where he fought his way to a permanent place. With HJK Helsinki, he participated in the qualification for the UEFA Champions League 2011/ 12 as well as by the local retirement at the play-off round of the UEFA Europa League 2011/12, in which the club could not prevail against FC Schalke 04. The end of 2011 ring won with HJK Helsinki, the Finnish Championship and also the Finnish Cup.

National

Since the U-16 Alexander Ring plays for the Finnish national teams. On 7 June 2011, he came in the 0-5 defeat at the European Championship qualifier against Sweden on his international debut for the Finnish national football team when he came on in the 79th minute for Alexei Eremenko. It has since been appointed regularly in the national squad.
