2011 Veikkausliiga

The First Division 2011 was the 22nd season of the First Division, the highest Finnish league for football the men, since their introduction in 1990. The season started on 2 May with the game Myllykosken Pallo -47 against IFK Mariehamn, Mariehamn from the club won the game 2-0. The season ended on 30 October 2011.

The league was originally supposed to start with 14 teams, the AC Oulu and three-time Finnish champion Tampere United, however, were denied a license.
