1991 Veikkausliiga

The First Division in 1991 was the second season of the First Division, the highest Finnish league for football the men.

Kuusysi Lahti was Finnish champion. The runner-up had last year at the end of the season one point ahead of Mikkelin Palloilijat.

The 1991 season was the first season, was played in the 3- point rule.

In the relegation Oulu Työväen Palloilijat played as First Division - Penultimate against the second division FinnPa Helsinki for a place in the First Division in 1992.
